We're Pregnant!

Chris and I are so excited to say that we are pregnant! I am due June 24th and am 11 weeks pregnant. We went to the doctors today for our second appointment and everything looks good. I was really nervous this morning because I thought that this was a very important doctors appointment but everything looks good so far. I really like our doctor and I think this is will be a good pregnancy. We also had an ultrasound and the ultrasound tech asked us if we were going to find out the sex of the baby and she said this early on she is about 75% accurate and she told us what she was learning towards (the secret is still in becuase I don't want to say one and have it be the other). I have a picture of our first ultrasound at 7 weeks but I will post the new ones later. The first one the baby looks like a blob but in the new ones you can actually see human characteristics. Chris and I are so excited and I can not wait until June to see our little baby. It seemed so much more real today in the ultrasound when the baby was kicking and rolling around. We also heard the heart beat and that was so cool. We are so excited and so far the pregnancy has been ok. I definitely have been nauseas but it has been manageable. Well I will keep you posted. I am still at the stage that I am excited about a belly so once I get one I will share the news.

I promise to post the new ones becuase you can not see anything in this picture!

It has been a while!

So I think in the last post I said that I was going to post more and I don't think that I have posted in like three months. I know I keep saying that I am busy but lately all I have been doing is working. I never understood why people who work in retail never liked the holidays but I am one to say now that I can not wait until it is January. We were able to have a fun weekend though. We went up to Salt Lake for one of Chris' cousins wedding and it was so much fun. It was a very short trip but it was much needed. We left on Thursday after I got done at work at 9:30 and drove to Cedar (thanks Sarah and Nate) to stay the night then drove the rest of the day on Friday. The wedding was on Saturday and I just love weddings. It was fun to be with Chris' family and my grandparents. We only took like two pictures even though I had high intentions of taking many but we got one together at the wedding.

Waiting for the ceremony to start

On other news to report after tomorrow Chris is officially done with his first semester of classes. He is already done with one class, his final was his paper and it was due Saturday night. His first final is next Tuesday and the tests last for two weeks so have happy thoughts for Chris! Well I am really going to try to post more but we will see how that goes. I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and what I am most thankful for is that the mall is closed on Thanksgiving so I do not have to work and have a great thanksgiving with all of my family!!!

On a side note I thought that Chris was in such concentration while he was driving. (maybe I should try this and I will not hit the stupid bumps in the road all the time)

Anniversary gifts

So I am pretty bad at updating my blog so I am working on it and i will try to post much more. I wanted to post the flowers that Chris gave me for my anniversary. Normally I do not like roses but these were one of the prettiest flowers that I have seen. There were orange and had a scalloped edge. I loved them. Also on another note Chris and I are pathetic. Ever since we got our puppy we have been obsessed with dogs when we both open up our cards are our anniversary we just start to laugh because of course we both got each other cards that had dogs on them. Well everything is going great right now, Chris has been in law school for a week now and it is going good for him. We are also planning on going on vacation for labor day weekend either to newport or denver so we are really excited about that.

I know I just said how much we were obsessed with dogs but on my day off this is what Brewer did all day. Wouldn't this be nice to live like this for a few days.

Happy Anniversary!

So today was Chris and I's second anniversary. It was a good night and we had fun. We went to Brian head this weekend so we celebrated my birthday and anniversary so today was not anything fancy but we had fun. I worked today and chris had to go to class but after that we went and saw GI Joe which was not the best movie but it was fun. After that we went to Agave which is a really good mexican place. We had fun and I can not believe that we have been married for two years. There has been so many great times in the last two years! Some of them consist of:

Getting our baby brewer!

Buying our first house

Chris getting into law school and moving back to Las Vegas!

these are just a few but I really have had so much fun the last two years and look forward to many more anniversary's to come.

So good to be home!

So Chris and I have been in vegas for about a month now and we are just so happy that we moved home. We love Las Vegas and we have been having a lot of fun being here. I rarely cook dinner any more beucase we have one of our parents that is cooking almost every night and they are much better than I am. We love our new ward and we were called to be Primary teachers to the six year olds and we are having so much fun doing it. We have a couple of wild children that ram there head into chris' ribs during sharing time but that keeps Sundays an adventure for us. I have been busy working and I really like nordstrom. It is hard though becuase whenever we get something new in I always want to buy it, it definetly tests my self control. We just feel so blessed right now and can not believe that we do not have to go back to provo in september. We are here for good and we will not have to move in 10 months like what we were doing in college. Also our house is coming along nicely. We still have some very bare rooms but I dont think that I want to do anything with them because adventually they will be kids rooms so it makes no sense to make them into something to eventually change them, but they are pretty empty right now. Well we are so happy to finally live in vegas for good and are having so much fun!

School is out!!!

So Chris and I are finally college graduates! It is such a great feeling because I never will have to go back to school unless I want too, Chris on the other hand starts on August 20th. It is such a nice feeling to go to work and not to have homework that I have to do after or study for tests. I just started to work at Nordstrom in the TBD department so when you come into Nordstrom make sure you come and say hi. Also we are finally all moved into our house and we love it so much. I want to take such good care of it that I make a weekly chore chart for Chris and I to complete. He thought that it was pretty nerdy (oh well). We did not take many pictures from our graduation but here is one after our graduation!

We're in!

I am so happy to say that Chris is going to be a Law School student at UNLV in the fall! I was starting to get a little nervous becuase we just assumed that Chris would get into UNLV so we went and bought our house. I never realized by doing that how much pressure I was putting on Chris but he pulled through with flying colors. I am so proud of him and he worked really hard for us so that we could move back to Las Vegas and he was able to get a scholarship so that takes some pressure off of me becuase I am going to be the bread winner for 3 years; hopefully I can find a job as a teacher. I am just so happy that Chris is such a hard working individual, he has applied to 8 Law schools and he have heard from 4 and he has gotten into all of them so far, even though the only one we really cared about was UNLV. Well good job Chris and I am sorry for the bragging about my husband post but I am so excited! I am more excited I think than he is, ha.

You would not believe how long it took me to convince Chris to take this picture!

and here is just a picture for your viewing pleasure! I thought it was funny.
